Terms & Conditions

•We ask for a deposit of 50% (non-refundable), to secure the reservation.


•The final payment (non-refundable) is due to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.


•All our rates are in Pounds Sterling per week (Saturday to Saturday).


•A security deposit of £100 will be charged upon arrival.  The house will be checked after your departure and this deposit refunded by post or credit card providing there has been no loss or damage and the house was found in a clean and tidy condition.


•WIFI Internet is available free of charge.


•Electricity and heating oil are not included and will be charged for at unit cost. Meter readings will be taken at the beginning and end of your stay.


•Bedding, towels, beach towels all other household linen are included in the cost of your stay.


•We ask that all waste is properly sorted for recycling and is deposited in the appropriate containers provided.


•Please ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment such as the oven, microwave and fridge should be left in a clean condition. A dishwasher is provided and we would be very grateful if you could use it to ensure that all the crockery, glasses, pots and pans etc are left clean for the next arriving guests.


•Cots, if required, to be booked in advance are free of charge.  Other baby items also available, please ask.


•In general no pets are allowed, however one small dog is very welcome.


•Smoking is not permitted inside the property.


•The total number in the party should not exceed the number of beds (10).  The booking agreement is made for the original members of the party as stated at the time of making the booking. The booking is not transferable and may not be added to without the agreement of the owners. We are sorry but the owners of the property may terminate occupancy if these conditions are not adhered to.


•Check-in after 4pm Saturday and check-out before 10am Saturday, please.


•The owners of Bay House reserve the right to make reasonable modifications and maintenance (i.e. mowing the lawn) to the property when necessary.


•We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to valuables or personal property and recommend you have the appropriate insurance cover.


•The owners or employees of Bay House shall not be liable, nor will accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage howsoever sustained by any person or persons whether arising under the express or implied terms of any rental agreement, or at Common Law (including any negligence of the proprietors their servants or agents) or in any other way whatsoever. The exclusion of the implied terms contained in Section 39 Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 is subject to the provisions of Section 40 of the said Act. In relation to occupancy of Bay House as holiday accommodation, these terms and conditions of use and all issues regarding both the property and this web site shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.


•In the event of breach of contract on the part of the owners of Bay House howsoever arising any loss and/or damage including consequential loss sustained by the renter shall be limited to the sum paid by the renter to the proprietors of Bay House.


•We are sorry but as owners we may decide to terminate occupancy if our terms and conditions are not complied with.
